Device Alive provides a simple application to promote mobile phones and the services they offer, right on their own screen. Customers can use it to learn more about the phone and popular applications/services like AT&T Navigator and AT&T Family Map by selecting to watch instructional videos, or view a list of device features. The application can also be used as a sales tool in helping customers determine which device is right for them and which services they might be interested in.

Q: How do I stop the program from running?

A: The Device Alive application is designed to run continuously, so there is no direct method to shut it down.

 

Q: How do I restart/repair a phone that is experiencing issues?

A: Power cycling the phone will fix most issues. Some phones will automatically restart the Device Alive application when the phone starts up, for others see their instruction page. In a worst-case scenario, performing a factory reset on the phone and then re-installing the Device Alive application will reset the demo.

 

Q: How do I uninstall Device Alive?

A: The standard application removal/uninstall procedure for each device will remove Device Alive from the phone.
